Classic Japanese Show and Shine CJSS

The idea for a Classic Japanese Car Show began many years ago after going to Car Shows where the Japanese marques were shunned, being called ‘Jap Crap’, ‘Buzz Burners’ & much more.

The event has really grown in the past seven years and looks to be even bigger and better in 2012
Our chosen charity www.angelflight.org.au receieved another $2,400.00 donation this year which helped to run the aircraft for a day.
For a full story, previous winners list and some history on this event be sure to check out the History page.

Japanese Nationals

Important Update

The decision to hold the 2012 Japanese Nationals at Ipswich (Queensland Raceway) has been decided by the CEO of Q.R. Keith Lewis. However 2012 is now going to be over 2 days, with an extract from Keith’s letter as follows “ As has been discussed we wanted more competitive activities and to make a 2 day event, hence we have decided to move the event to Ipswich where safety margins are much higher for on Track Activities

This is not my feeling as it will take away what was originally needed

I have added a voting pole. Please consider the following and please respond on CJSS web site.

1. do we move to Ipswich ( greater distance) there will be no drags.

2. do we stay at Lakeside ( if the event remains as it has for the last 2 years)

3. do we go back to Strathpine ( Bald Hills Park ) where CJSS started from. As a static display

4. do we have an event that combines show and shine and cruise Alternatively please email me with your preference of idea or location

The resultant information is required as early as possible so as to arrange an be able to hold an event in 2012
